I can't help you with the value, but how about the provenance?
Are they really from a KZ? They could also come from a SS barrack!

I would not pay extra cash just because they could be from a KZ.

        Cheers,

They marked those Chairs SS to keep the Army from stealing them? Who is coming into a KZL to steal Chairs?

I am very sceptic.... Large Waffen SS marks on old used chairs?

A good way to make money on old chairs.... Mark them SS!!

Until I see super solid evidence this is a joke to me.

I thought the Waffen SS was the fighting arm of the SS, what would these
                    chairs be doing in Auschwitz

                      Could that be proved?

Seems still like crap to me... No offence man and you know that, but it seems a bit overdone. I need really hard evidence to believe in stuff like this.

Why not mark other wooden items with this large Waffen SS stamps? I have not seen. There is room on the butt on the K98, but yet they have smaller markings. I have not seen any wooden crates for SS with this kind or marking.

                      I am in doubt....

                      Cheers

Niklas well i can belive its not for you ,but trust me it was marked that way,i have even seen a mirror with a stamp like that, sure you have to know the origin, but im my case it was for a" bottle of wodka" item, that mean i have paid 5 euro.
i was with some friends in Heidelager with metal detectors, and we have ask old
people for 'old army stuff",one guy has some of the wooden items, pair of low boots, and estonian shild.

the chairs could come from the Haus Der Waffen-SS.

I got the exact same (design) chair with a FLUV stamp, so the chairs are period barrack items i.m.o..
Now step two: draw the line to porcelain: marked FLUV for LW and there is also porcelain marked Waffen SS... and back to the chair again.

I believe these to be genuine and would buy them.
                              (the extra/added story who knows...?)
