Thanks for posting these images Don. I do remember discussing it over at the GDC forum. Frederico, this helmet is 100% real and a true RZM contract example. The price is a little steep based on it's condition...at this moment in time, that is. Prices are constantly on the rise so the price will eventually be ok.
It appears to be the matte black finished example of this helmet and has it's original liner and chinstrap assembly. Additionally, it is marked to a VT unit of SS-Germania. It's a cool piece but because of poor storage, not in the best of condition.
PS - Robin, I was in no way trying to diminish your comments. I was just attempting to be accurate regarding the RZM helmets for the sake our readership of collectors. You are "the man" when it comes to the organization of the SS.

Absolutely no offence taken, I assure you. You were right with all you said about the helmets. My knowledge and experience of these RZM helmets is not as good as yours.Comment
