    SS Sleeve Eagle Reitz

    Hello,
I have had this eagle for a little while and was going to sell it, but wanted to post it here first. I was told by the European vendor that it was a Reitz eagle.
I have showed it to a few other collectors who do not share this opinion.
I would appreciate any info on it.

    Thank You

      eagle

This same bird was p;osted on another forum by GV and it is not a Reitz eagle.

Here are images of real reitz sleeve eagle and cap eagle, which are nothing like this eagle you have posted.

I think Reitz must have had a 10-year-old kid on their design staff when they drew up that eagle.

Has sort of an Art Deco look to it.

Is the first eagle posted legit? It has an awfully tiny head.

              re

no this eagle is not the famous Reitz-made one
but this Eagle has discussed before about a year or so ago
              Because I,ve also one
the eagle is stitched right on the silk-background and has no welt

Gary wood and Mike beaver also gave there humble opinion
that this is a good piece probay-made in one of the occupied countrys
              (holland belgium or france)
