SS Katzchen Hat

Hey Y'all,

Bout this with a few other pieces the other day. Paid $700.00 just for the hat so Im really hopping that its the real deal. Showed it to a dealer in town, and he offered me $7000.00 for it so I figured that I should check with all of you first . Also is $7000.00 a fair price?

The details in mine are way different then the one in the link below. Mine has a type of paint coat on the inside where that one appears to just be a cloth, mine has a thin top white tube where the other one has has a think top. also on the inside of mie there is a orange rubber like liner thats mostly gone. Also mine is marked 1933 not 1934.

Only the insignia are original. Sadly, the cap is a fake.

I would get my money back if I where in your shoes , the hat is a well known fake . sorry. I have seen "one" original kratzen in all my years of collecting , they are perhaps the rarest of all SS caps .
