    SS License Plates

    Hey y'all:

I had a fellow contact me about the SS plates you see here. I know the pics aren't so good, but should I waste my breath? Known or obvious fakes? Really good?, I have no clue.

I have to wonder about both having the same number and staying together. I'm told the came "from an estate".

    Any input will be appreciated!

IMO not good I would only go for the printed/painted Plates..havent seen embossed ones..did embossed plates exist? I dont know..

also not like the fc**ed up front side and the much better backside from the photo given.
I assume it wasnt mounted on a vehicle from 1939 to 2012 to preserve this condition

That was my first thought as soon as I saw them......embossed numbers WTF!

The rear side looks far too good to be period and considering the battered front side.

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

License plates are my second habit and I wouldn't look at those except to wonder who made them.
