    SS M44 in Gabardine

    I have a question for the collecting community....and that is;

    Do I bother to "professionally" restore the original tunic removed SS insignia (pictured) to the combat used SS Betra. Ra. manufacturd M44 tunic or do I leave it up to the future buyer to restore whatever tabs and boards he likes to the tunic?
    The late war machine sewn sleeve eagle, IMO, is original to the tunic and it can be clearly seen where the collar tabs were once positioned.

    I will be selling this tunic shortly and it will be sold complete with a matching set '44 dated combat trousers, also in gabardine.

    Your help with this matter will be much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Vilja

    leave it to the buyer, that way he is responsible if it does not come out perfect and can restore as he likes!

    Very nice tunic by the way, I would like to see more.

            Thanks to all who responded to my request

            I will be selling the tunic without insignia.....and, just in case, I will have a few very nice tunic removed SS tabs and boards for sale as well.

            Hopefully I can hit on the right price for the set (tunic and matching trousers) or the right price if they have to be sold separately.

            You will find that I am very easy to work with....and you will definitely enjoy the transaction and most certainly, you will be very pleased with the tunic and/or combat pants purchased.

            Sincerely,

            Vilja

                this tunic, if i see well the betr.ra. stamp open a great windows... cause it's for sure good... so the Betr. Ra. stamp with a bit different R see in other items (for example the fews Betr. Ra. "austrian" sturmg. wraps in Italian wool come out 4 years ago or the polizei one with classic german wool you could find in this foum)
                open new scenary...
