i need help!! eagle

i know this is a difficult topic because from what i can tell... there is a lot of debate on this subject. but no where.. and i mean no where can i find anything on restoring a tunic. so i am coming here, just straight out asking. what is the correct application for a BeVo eagle on a tunic?
i know tread patterns are a problem and most of the "cut eagles" are in bad condition, how ever my tunic is near mint(minus insignia) and i would like to use a correct looking eagle. should i instead use a second pattern embroidered eagle? and i would like to make my "restoration" as authentic as is possible.

any chance you can post photos of the tunic, I bet that would get some inspiration from a few of our experts here on what to use and how to use it.

You can also do an image search for "restored tunic" and get some ideas and pointers there.
