    Any thoughts on originality?

I am in no way an expert and have only a small collection myself. But I like the overall look of it, the backing looks professionally applied and it's made of double width tresse which I believe is fairly hard to come obtain (meaning most fakes are made of two single strips). Like the flat-wire look of the tresse too (but of course, it could be original tresse). There are two ways of making the points from the rear, one a simple fold and sew along the whole v shape when applying the backing; the other method is where you make a v-shape then sew down the rear like a seam having to flatten the material down before applying to the backing. This results in a 'bump' underneath the tips. Shouldn't think it really matters but I guess that reproducers usually use the simpler of the two methods. Just clues in the decision. Be interesting to see what others think

it can be original, but hard to say, maybe more opinions needed.
