    SS TK Honor Ring

    Hello Everyone,
I just got into the collecting of TK Items.
I have acquired an Honor Ring and have had it for over a few Months now.
I did not know the value when I got it, so here is the Story.
A coworker had a few TK and German WWII Items from his wife’s Father.
He Brought these items back after the war.
I have bought all of it at one time and this ring was in the bottom of the box.
    I got the entire lot.
Now I will post the ring here to see what you Collectors and Experts say based on the Pictures I have.
    Is it Real or Fake?
If you need more pictures please let me know
    Thank You
    William

Could you provide pics of the whole lot and the box, please?

    Thank you.

Looks to be a proper ring but actually yours extremely close up photos do more to distort identification rather then help with it.

Sorry the other items were not SS items so I have already sold them.
The coworker’s wife has some more items of her Fathers and I will be acquiring them hopefully soon.

The Honor Ring is positively an original. It has all of the die flaws that are present in originals, in the spots where they should be.

Great find for a beginner. A homer, the first time at bat.

          Congrats.

It was just by luck that I got this ring.
As stated it was in the bottom of the box and was not even considered in the price.
The Coworker knew I collected WWII weapons and my son and I are starting to collect German and Russian Military Items.
He offered the box of things to me because his wife did not want items in the house with the Swastika's on it.
The other Items are her fathers Service items he kept and 2 weapons he had.
I will be getting those Items soon.

Thank you for the kind words and I too believe this is purely luck.
I have been burned so many times on collecting Weapons in the past but now have a good understanding of them and it’s hard to fool me on them.
I joined here to ask questions because I thought this piece was to good to be true myself and I plan on adding more Items in the near future.
But to the Value of this Item I have no clue to this specific Item.
I have seen some from $5000 to $12000 depending on different aspects, and i do not know how to put a price this ring.
I just know it’s Valuable if real.

                    William:
Believe me it is valuable and it is real. You have the world's most critical peer review on this topic, in the WAF. If all of the guys are saying "yes", that should speak for itself. Value would be no less than 5k, and probably more

William as far as value goes on your ring i would say priceless. Only because of the way you came to have it being your first vet buy. In the real world if a dealer had it for sale you would be looking at 10k plus. Unless you need the money or just dont like the ring i would keep it. They are only going to go up in value over the years and get harder to find. There are ways to research the original owner also as you know his name is in the ring. There are alot of guys on here who could help you with that research. And you never know what you may find about the owner. Thats one of the coolest parts of are hobby i think. To be able to research a name to whom a item is associated with. Plus you never know this guy could be just a foot soldier or he could have been a right hand man to someone famous. If it turns out that he was a big shot the value will go threw the roof. So its worth the time and efford to do the research plus its one of the funnest part of the hobby in my opinion. Good luck and kkeep us filled in on the rest of the group and what yyour research turns up.
