Another possible clue: does a Munich based tailor make sense for him?
    Residence? unit location?
Time frame? (tag date = June 1944)

Fegeleins classic tunic has one significant feature, no height to its collar, its very flat ala polo shirt, and quite long.

Munich wouldn't be out of the question as he spent so much time in the Obersalzburg. Still not really feeling it on this one, though.

From Wikipedia: (yes that could tie the tunic to his wedding)
Fegelein's politically-motivated marriage to Gretl Braun, Eva Braun's sister, took place on 3 June 1944 in Salzburg. (Tunic date = June 1944)
Historians Kershaw and Shirer believe he courted Braun as a way to advance his career. Hitler, Himmler, and Bormann acted as witnesses at the ceremony.
A two-day celebration was then held at Hitler's and Martin Bormann's Obersalzberg mountain homes and the Eagle's Nest.

Some people also receive personal presents due to their wedding...

Here's one of Fegelein as an Oberführer - seems to have the EKII ribbon and the WIO on this tunic.

So his wedding tunic wasn't finished at ceremony ?

Your shared pic shows Fegelein on the 3rd of June at the civil registry office in Salzburg - obviously with a different uniform.

Does anybody believe that he would dance, drink, sweat and ride over these days in only one and the same uniform?

And not to forget: after that honeymoon was awaiting them and perhaps Himmler presented not only a pair of silver wedding cups to them but to Hermann a new uniform, or Hitler himself did so, or another one of the huge circle of highest ranking guests - that is possible.

So still no iron proof that tunic from auktcion was for sure in Fegeleins hands.

So what ? DNA research for sure ???

First I have to correct myself:

Your shared pic shows Fegelein when being in the Berghof with his wife Gretl to his left next to and greeted by Hitler, obviously after the official ceremony in Salzburg.

The uniform he was wearing in Salzburg was slightly different from the one visable in that sequence together with Hitler in the Berghof.

So there were different uniforms in use as one can imagine.

                                How to find out more?

Inspect it at HH´s preview in person - that seems to be the best and only possibility.
