Sorry, I don't like it at all (button holes, back and tongue) please wait for the strap experts though.

You need to show the fronts and backs clearly in one photo. Shots of small portions could be the front or back of the tongue...and that could be important.

They might be privately tailored boards, but without more photos it's guesswork...and even with more photos, it still might be.

        Strap button holes

The style of button hole did exist on original straps, no question about that.

no expert but they did use those types of button holes right now i am not convinced that these are good based on the hodge podge blurry pictures the piping weave looks off as we know can be very difficult to photograph sometimes the slightest angle can make the piping look suspect

IMO this are typical fake boards that you can often seen on ebay. Owned a Inf Unterscharführer of same type once a time.

To me the 'padded' felt underside is the kind we saw here in the uk late 70's early 80's sold as repros.

The colour looks like a "Feldgendarmerie" strap.

The color is copper brown for early recon.

Some of the piping on the boards look bad as well

If you mean this photo posted by member g hanson I think his aim was to show straps with different brownish piping.

I would have to agree with Lenny. Only better photos showing the entire boards and clear shots of the piping might clear this up.
