I saw an ss tunic today. I know pics would help but I dont have any.
It was a grey tunic with black ribbed liner and striped sleaves (no tailor marks). The lower right corner of the tunic had a pocket made of liner material 2" wide by 4" deep with a button( I think).
The button holes were teardrop with that straight edge (like you showed me). The buttons were marked with a maker beginning with "e" (I think, maybe ernst or something) the year and the letter m (at the 5 oclock position) the right coller tab was all black piped silver, the left was a sturmbannfuhrer (4 pips) and had what looked like SBF shoulder boards (white swirl with maybe green background). The right arm had a patch that looked like a shield of national colors (I think). there was a blank black cuff title piped in silver. There was a silver bullion ss eagle on the left arm. Half way from the elbow to the cuff title there was a black diamond silver piped with silver bullion letters "SD". The collar was zig zag stiching, the tabs stitching looked profesional. I think the eagle stitching had a stitch every 1/8" perpendicular to the eagle patch that was very professionally done.
Does this sound correct? The price was $500.00
