    Sepp Dietrich LSSAH Photograph

From the estate of a veteran who started in the "Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler" (Pionieren and afterwards I think he was transferred to the Panzer-Abteilung LSSAH) and afterwards (last known unit) in the Panzerflakzug of the SS-Panzer-Regiment 12 of the 12. SS-Division "Hitlerjugend". Sadly nothing of military to be found in the NARA (only personal). Luckily I found him on some original documents of the HJ Division whereout I could find his last-known unit (Panzerflakzug) and could confirm he was indeed with the 12. SS.. One of his comrades was Johann Beutelhauser, whose destroyed Panther is to be seen on some photographs from Krinkelt-Rocherath. I was glad to also have a found a photograph of him. This was not the only surprise I found some more photographs from many (known) (famous) officers and nco's.. Also interesting: in Charkow his Zugführer was Hauptscharführer Reimling (RKT, KIA).

If interested and requested I can post some (other) photographs (of himself).

Thanks already for the replies! Could one help with the officers on the left or even know the Ustuf. in the middle who is getting awarded in the photograph? I remember the face of the officer standing to the camera after Dietrich but can't put a name to him. Thanks in advance.

I can at least contribute with a photo of Reimling.

The other officers do not come to mind. I'm sorry.

              Cheers,
              Markus

Thanks for posting this, I do only have photograph of Reimling his grave. Hereby another amazing photograph from the estate. This photograph was taken in May 1940, described as "Bunkerknacker, Mai 1940, "Erster Angriff" x Selbst, 7./II./ Leibst.SS.Adolf Hiter". Should anyone have more information, I would appreciate it!

Following the previous amazing frontphotograph from the Leibstandarte-SS Adolf Hitler which was taken on a date notorious for its massacre at Wormhoudt by Wilhelm Monhke. Following this shot here is another beautiful photograph taken at Silvester (New Year's eve) 1940-41. This time from the Pionierzug of the 10. Sturm (Kompanie)/ II./ "LSSAH". Which make me think he first belonged to the 7. Kompanie and was then transferred to the 10. Kompanie. Interesting is that Hubert Meyer - according to AHF - commanded the 10. Kompanie from June '40 till August '41!

All help and comments as always appreciated.
PS: Take a note of the SS-Helmet and LSSAH Shoulderboards
