I have a copy of the SS Dienstalterslisten in the form of a bunch of .jpg files. I haven't slogged through it to see if I could match up some names. The listings do not appear to be in alphabetical order, that and my German is limited to Google Translate. I'm afraid my research skills are rather weak.

    Regards.

No, the SS DALs were not in alpha order, but each edition (except perhaps 1934?) had an alpha listing at the end in order to find a particular name. I guess the lists were in seniority ranking as indicated by the name of the book- Dienstalterliste. Hopefully someone on the forum can do a preliminary search for you as many members have the lists.

Thanks G-Man. I guess I should put on the other things of his I have, but nothing has such a visible direct connection between the two personalities. It is like the book I have on crime in Germany that Daluege wrote that he gave to Himmler shortly after his ascension to power as head of all police
in Gemany. Daluege penned a servile inscription and above it and to the right is the grenn pencil HH initials with the place and date he read the book.
It was dicussed on another thread on personalty items if I remember.

Martin, in what RSHA Dienststelle did she serve? Very nice. Helferin items are quite scarce.

Jacques, that is an awesome crusher.

Michael, a wonderful wood carved Wappen. We discussed these before on another thread I believe.

Jacques, I really like the wear on that OS cap and wonder if you could post another photo showing the inside? The Visor ain't bad either!

Martin, this is very interesting- would you consider starting your own thread as I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to see more...
