    Early LAH Boards

    I have been offered these. Anyone have experience with these? Any chance they are good?

      It looks as though someone might have added tresse at one time? The embroidery looks a little puffy, but it may be fine and just the photos? I like that they have basket weave piping. This type of board usually requires a "hands on" approach. I have seen a number of variations of this particular insignia, some with less curl, etc. I have found a pretty tight weave consistency in the embroidery on these early cypher boards.

      Here are two examples from my collection with very similar embroidery, although one is piped in bullion for an NCO.

        I like the piping and the wool of the first board the piping is consistant with braided piping Ive seen on many original boards.
