    Early Pre Rzm Black Visor

I would like to share a visor that i bought from a vet ten years ago, he had it shipped or stored in a old cookie tin can, with the capture papers with it.When i first pulled it out of the tin, i was puzzled because i have only seen rzm visors, and never seen pre rzm visors. typically you see early insignia jawless skulls on these visors, but this must be a transitional period. The insignia is totally original to the piece, no other puncture holes where previous insignia once was. The hat stiffener is gone, and thats how the vet made it fit in the cookie tin. enjoy!

Very nice early NCO visor! I have seen two of these early tellermutzen type Alg SS visors with the later insignias. One had both the 1934 skull and 1936 eagle, the other had 1934 skull with early eagle. You should preserve the capture papers and cookie tin too as this is a great piece of history!
