The plaque on the right commemorates the 1000 year commemoration of King Wilhelm I. I wonder if Himmler or Hitler attended this commemoration in June 1933. I’m guessing it was held in Merseburg does anybody know?

Yes - that is one of the two, thank you.

The wrought iron candleholders and the little window with the Reichsadler inside are creations of Karl Diebitsch, THE leading SS artist.

Hello, I would like to show another example of a Quedlinburg batch.
Does it have a chance to be original?

                Regards, Matthias

                      Hello Matthias,

thanks for your pictures, i don't think i had this one in my archives.

Your badge has the same caracteristics as the electroplated badge that Jo studied in his video (actually many - if not all badges i have in archives are electroplated). We can found the same flaws (lack of copper, here in the side of the hill) check the pic i'm adding in this topic.

                      See You

This one has no chance, imo.

                            Hi,

I will be away from my PC until Sunday, but this one does appear to be one of the electroplated castings just like the ones metioned here and in that video. Many details are obvious, imo, such as the circles on the viking helmet, etc.

Thanks - So the discussion is that if it has been electroplated then it is not good?
Sorry I haven't been following the entire thread.
