    SS Nederland Armband

Had this in my collection since the early 70's. Thin gauze/cheese cloth like material.
SS Officers Buckle stamp on both sides, Wolfs hook appears to have been enhanced. No idea why, or when .
    Armband has also been widened.

Would love to know what the knowledgeable community thinks, or any opinions from the respectable audience.
    Thank you in advance.

If this is the real deal at all, after all these years, after a long, close inspection, in my opinion, the reason this band arrived in the current state that its in, is possible since general fading, which is evident, the wolfshook was in that faded state also, and with the depolrable conitions this flimsy band was subject to at that awful time in holland, the wolfshook was important enough to have a renewal at the end of that mans life....and due to the thinness, and porus cloth, the stitching just fell apart, possibly also due to to inferior thread. The black stitching appears to be a hasty field repair?

Thanks gentlemen for your educated , and concerned input. i had my doubts also, but i was hoping for the best scenario....the only way that it can be proved original of course would be if others came forth with similar examples, or seen in photographs....the great fakers have great imaginations!..but on the otherhand ill still have faith in it till proven a fake, and having it all this time its become a member of the family that you cant get rid of!
