SS Totenkopf Collar Tabs, opinions please!

Hi guys,

Yesterday I got these Totenkopf Collar Tabs from someone who has brought it from the USA. It is real silver wire on the collars. The Totenkopf looks a bit weird... I'm not sure if these are authentic ones from ww2. Opinions?

Very poor Ebay specials. The wirey twist piping dates back to the 70's at least.
