    Green drillich panzerjacke??????? to SS

    Hello

you can help me. It's about a bright green fatigues drill panzerjacke
can someone tell me if this summer jacket by armored SS members were born, or had the only black jackets
or is the herringbone version of the issued Panzeruniform. om members to WH
I found a picture that looks like a WH version but the SS badge on the sleeve rank makes me suspicious
    see link

its in fact a WH model,so not issued for WSS ,but in some cases for sure some are used by SS soldiers.

With a breast eagle and Heer PZ tabs, why do you think this one could be SS

Waffen-ss green drillich wrapper has a specific shape ( before the dot 44
            adopted in 44)

I would think the first order of business is to determine whether the base jacket is original or not.

For that...more photos are needed, unless it was posted as a recreation in the first place.

The jacket you show in the link is Heer pattern (back seam) with SS markings which don't make it real or SS.

                    drillich panzerjacket

the jacket in the link (hessenantique.com) is not original. It has the large (WH) pocket on the front, but has the vertical (SS) frontclosure. In my opinion the jacket in the link is fake.

there is however a photo of a SS-Hitlerjugend panzersoldier, taken prisonner in Normandie, wearing a WH drillich panzerjacket with the big frontal pocket. I can't find that photo right now...

If you reread my answer, part of it was "which don't make it real", the implication being it is therefore fake. Since the jacket he posted is an obvious fake, it makes no difference how it is put together, vertical front or not...fake remains fake, and can be someones version of what they think it might have been, or changed the opening on their Heer pattern fake wrap for ease of manufacture.

I believe I have seen the photo also, and have no doubt about the crossover of clothing between the Heer and SS. I thought initially this was about determining whether a particular jacket was original or not. I asked for specific photos of the jacket in question, and the fake was posted, so maybe it is a language /translation problem. Perhaps I misunderstood.

I is not about whether the jacket original is but whether this type of jacket was also used by the SS Pictures show that and prove that this green drill panzerjacke would help me sorry for my bad english
