    SS Printed(?) Arm Eagle Triangle

Hello Esteemed collectors. I would be indebted to have opinions on a 'printed' SS Arm(?) eagle in a triangular shape.

I was given the above eagle by a collector friend who purchased it for a very nominal amount (not sure how much) from someone outside of a Militaria show many years ago (not inside, and not a dealer trying to pass it off as a rare item).

Being in no way an expert, just an occasional collector of cloth, I have not seen anything to resemble this - SS or Heer. It appears to be printed and is a white eagle on a black background. It is obviously well finished with a woven edge and backed with a coarse weave, off-white cloth. I believe the late war printed ones were much cruder.

Anyhow, I would value some experienced opinions, thank you.

    My first impression is no.
I would pass on this eagle.

      As Jack said,

Frederic and Jack, thank you for those remarks. I already own it (was given it so did not risk any monies). The printed version you have included is what I thought they usually looked like. This one is much more elaborate for some reason, it is intriguing and may bear some more research, just out of interest.

Once again, thank you for your help.

Michael, the way it's bound and backed reminds me of the Waffen-SS Division coasters/roundels which were abound in gunshops etc here in the UK back in the 70's. Our American colleagues bought them through a company called 'Patch King' I believe.

          Not 100% definate.
