    Flemish Enamel x 2

    Hi Everybody,

A successful weekend: I managed to pick up not one but two Flemish SS pins. As I understand it the diamond one, BL, is for Supporters (Bescherhende Leden), and the circular pin for Allgemeine wear. Both badges are unmarked.

Interstingly, the BL badge came with the previous owner's paper tag still attached. It describes how he bought it in 1961, whilst in Brussels, for the sum of £1.40, approx. 2 Euro. How things have changed!

    Hope you like them.

    All the best,
    Toby.

I allso have the right one, but the lapel-issue. Mine is marked with 'L. Zoll - Antw.' (see: http://www.wo2.nl/gallery/details.php?image_id=629 )

          Hi Peter,

Thanks for posting. Am I correct in understanding that all of these badges were made by the firm of Zoll, whether marked or not?

          Best regards,
          Toby.

I've allways assumed that, it's quite logical, but I don't know for shure.

...Yes they were made by ZOLL Antwerpen.
The civil pin for the Allgemeine-SS came in three versions:
              -a safty pin, no maker.
-a button hole plate, no maker.
-a button hole plate, maker marked.

              Pieter.
              SUUM CUIQUE ...
