With a thing like this, the value is whatever someone is prepared to pay for it.

To a 'casual' SS collector, it might be $1000. But to someone with money who has a full uniform with gorget, banner, etc, and just needs the bandolier to finish off a standard-bearer display...............the sky's the limit.

          Robin,

Thanks for your feedback. I spoke with the collector and he had a price in mind based on what he paid for it. He asked that I attempt to confirm a price. Thanks again for all your help, I will contact the collector and let him know.

              Mike,

I have only seen one wehrmacht bandolier for sale and it was offered to me (to be reunited with a flag it was once with), I of course picked it up. I have seen a few of the SS for sale over the years, and a RAD,
Good Luck, I will keep my eyes open for you,

I just saw this item posted for sale on the e-Stand...$10,000!!! Good Lord, talk about shooting for the moon! That's about twice as much as it's worth IMHO.

Last year, at the MAX, one SS bandoleer sold for $1200 and another was available and went unsold for $3500. I have the early all leather version which went unsold for $500.

                      Hi Bob,

A fellow I know is looking for a second pattern bandolier - but is not interested in paying 10K for the priviledge. If you know where the unsold second pattern is - I would be grateful for a PM. Thanks and regards,

                      Mike

IMHO, it's about 10 times as much.

                            Pascal,
this thread is over 3 years old and at that time there were problems where photos were lost due to the forum software
