    Bevo sleeve eagle

Any opinions on this enlisted man's sleeve eagle been out of circulation since before 1980? The scan makes it look a bit rusty, don't go by the colors.

          NUTMEG
repro signs: wrong color rayon thread, sloppy swastika, poorly defined talons, poorly defined wreath and too much black highlight threads between wing feathers. Thats just my opinion..

                    Back of eagle

Here it is. keep in mind a lot of the white areas are covered by the black edging which is folded over from sewing.

Gary, In comparing this eagle with your tropical one, they are in my opinion a product of the same maker and machine stich for stitch.Could be they ran white one in the same machine for a few days, only a matter if changing the color feeding into the machine.

Nutmeg, I don't think there's anything wrong with that eagle. It appears to have been off a uniform and when they come used like that they tend to get out of shape somewhat. Sonny
