    Hello all,

Any thoughts on this one? How many examples of these are floating around?

Golden embroidery, somehow interesting even when it's a fake

                Black Bobbin Thread ?

William: just out of curiosity, what color is the bobbin thread on the reverse? Is it black like the thread in the example below?

                  Yeech

I hate that band material, so why not stitch on the words "Dachau", it's makes it even more silly.

Greg, please stop subjecting me to pictures of the back of that bad Cuff-title. It's beneath you.

I thought that was staining from Tea. Oh well.

In this case it might be another liquid that rhymes with tea.

Who was making these anyway? Are they recent of 1970s fantasy stuff from Patch collecting companies? I have seen a couple of them but could not figure out if they were new or old production.

                          Subjecting YOU ?

Aww, quit your gripin', Perhaps you need to pipe more oxygen down into that subterranean vault of yours?

Admittedly, you have seen more pictures of that one particular cuff-title than anybody else - but I have only posted this lonely image on the WAF twice in recent weeks. I'm hardly subjecting anyone to anything. Besides, we did not conclude that the cuff-title was bad - only that it did not conform to the two "textbook" pieces that we are both aware of...

My question about the black bobbin thread is entirely relevant and I hope that William will answer.

                          Your Friend,

                          GREG E.
