This cigarette case has been lying around my house for the past year. The previous owners father was a colonel in the 106th Infantry Division during WWII. He later became a two star general. The son had until his death been the curator for the military collection at Tennessee State Museum in Nashville. I was surprised to see the name traced to a SS general named Otto von Oelhafen. Please post any comments about the case. The interior gold wash is much more pronounced then in the pictures. Thanks
