2 Skulls, 2 Eagles, Bad or Good ?

First up I am a gun collector and once in awhile I do something stupid and dive into areas where I dont know anything... this being no exception.

I bought a box of stuff and need advice as I go through it.. I assume the worst. PS> The guy said the eagle with the holes in it were sewn on a military hat, but the holes dont look factory and the pins appear to have been removed.

Comments ? If anything is good could I get a value as well.. Thanks !!

    Hello Newby,
here my opinion about the items:
    - Skull with 254/42 = fake
    - Skull with the three prongs = wait here for other opinions
    - Eagle with M1/17 = fake
    - Eagle with SS RZM = fake

    Regards,
    Dagaz

Don't know very much about SS insignia but these are very crude made.

The skull with 3 prongs is from a Heer panzer collar patch so out of my territory, the rest are crude fakes.

Any chance the the skull with 3 prongs is from a Heer panzer collar patch ? If so I assume its not worth much ?

            Regards

The panzer skull is a known fake too. I just didn't have the heart to tell you it was all junk yesterday. I left that dirty task to others, but I stopped back unfortunately to put the proverbial "nail in the coffin."

              Sorry....

Unfortunately all are fakes. A search on those pieces should give you a better idea on previous discussions. The eagles are either too thick (a sign of casting as opposed to stamping); and the details not crisp as what I would expect.
