Please post your 100% unmessed with SS tunic

I'm talking the same as it was the day before the war ended. Nothing re-sewn after the war ended, all insignia and ribbon bars original, 100% real deal, nothing restored. I will assume there is provenance or it truly has an iron-clad story. But I'd really like to see one, and if the owner doesn't mind, please give a figure on what you'd sell it for? No, I'm not a buyer, but I know how rare these are and I'm curious on what it would take for you to part with it. To me, this would be about the hardest item to acquire for a collection and would certainly be a centerpiece. Thank you in advance. I really hope I get to see some beautiful original tunics.

    Regards,
    Joel

Thank you all, I guess I didn't search good enough earlier. Would anyone by chance remember a tunic for sale, oh, some 5 or 6 years ago on these boards? I -think- a moderator had it for sale. It was a very, VERY early SS tunic. I'm sure it wasn't black, but I think it was still some type of political SS unit. Had all the numbered early insignia and all original. Anyone recall this? It had to have been the one of if not the earliest SS tunics posted on these boards.

        Regards,
        Joel

Is this a trap? Sounds like it...And how do you know its real and 100%?It could all be remade postwar from real cloth, how would you know?According to you,you can't distinguish anything in cloth from being made last week or in 1939.

            From my first post......

I will assume there is provenance or it truly has an iron-clad story.

That meaning I just wanted to see them, and would assume the provenance and history is traced back to pre-1945. In other words, no need to discuss what is being discussed in another thread. Happy New Year.

            Best wishes,
            Joel

P.S. I know good original stuff is out there, that's why I asked to see some. I just think some people really have the blinders on when it comes to exactly how much this stuff is faked. I would honestly put the number of truly unmessed with items like SS tunics at only 1 or 2 out of 100. Jewish stars, 1 out of 1000. That is why guys who have the old collections, the guys who purchased directly from the vets of Easy Company in a hotel room can be the ones who sleep soundly. IF they sold then I would buy and fulfill many dreams, because of the rock solid provenance. But I have twin toddlers. I can barely afford diapers.

            Regards,
            Joel
