Allgemeine SS Car Pennant

I bought this SS car penannt, an SS wool armband, a printed Party armband and some miscellaneous German badges directly from a 26th Infantry Division this weekend. When my knowledgeable friend, John Telesmanich (Germanwarbooty.com) was looking at it at the time I purchased it, the RZM tag, which was attached to the lower right corner of the pennant, broke in half; thus, the RZM logo remained on the flag and the RZM number became a separate entities - Thanks John - it held up fine for 66 years until you handled it. Hoping for a dramatic story, I asked the vet how he obtained it. He told me that he obtained the items during searches of German homes and offices.
