                Darrell,

If you saved the photos from the auction, you should post them as we can only see one photo since the auction has ended. It is hard to see any details at all.

Is there even any regulation for piped SS alking out tunic, because I certain't don't recall one. To me this would be for a Heer Motorized Recon unit.

Given a couple of weeks I'm sure 'they' could make you an outline of Madonna with legs akimbo if the money was right.

You may be right ( I hope you are) it may just be '100% SS KZ' ... but are there regulations for said item ?

I saw it on auction and was trying to figure out if it is even a period tunic. As Ian noted there were no regulations for piped SS service tunics so if it is real it is an enigma or more likely it would be Army and a Geschmuckte Feldbluse for Bau or as noted motor recon. It has clear outlines of SS insignia on it. We need to see pictures on the interior and details to figure out if it is even real. My thoughts from the single image was that it was a costume or a reproduction but it is very hard to tell from the single photo.

You have to go to the link. I do not think you can cut and paste from their server. I looked at it again, it has loops for shoulder boards and is cut odd, it does not have a piped collar etc. . We will have to wait for better pictures.
