Soviet denazified buckle, not a first one seen. Look at the edges with the traces of the cut

I agree, i agree with Fraser also, that would have to be a very good shot and also a square bullet !!!! Awsome damaged canteen ! does it appear though that the projectiles came from inside the canteen, the damage is facing outwards from inside, and there are no entry holes on the other side?? just seems a little odd

Yeah i see what you mean now mate, can see it now, isn't it strange how the impact has actually torn the metal outwards, rather than inwards on the entry hole, would have thought the opposite, must have been the acute angle i guess, bullets can do strange things in flight, i have only ever fired rounds at objects directly in front

that has caused the metal to curl like so..
