Let's see the reverse. Right now, the tab looks like a reproduction. Swastika construction leaves much to be desired. Very loose and uneven edges.

For me its all wrong ......
It's not something I would want in my collection.
I don't understand why something like this should be made in the first place and why " if correct has it only now come to the surface after so many years

Reverse attached. I agree it's not a great looking tab - the puzzle as said is why there would appear to be few of them if they are fakes.
Variants and locally made tabs do exist and are often not high on quality and fakes are usually produced en masse - particualrly at the low value end of the scale like this - think Delta?

That isn't the standard 'Delta' fake, they are quite distinctive and much nearer the Dachau find tabs than this oddity.

Sorry Ian, I wasnt't clear - I meant that the Delta fakes were produced en masse whereas this seems to have very limited production. Not a guranatee of originality but low end pieces are perhaps usually produced in larger quantities to justify the time spent making them.

Charles - any more thoughts on the reverse? Buckram seems fine?

reverse tells me not a good one, but something very apealling about front!!

Mistakes are done all the time. I ****ed up major good at the cross section earlier today. What the... It´s a hobby!
