SS Generals' Tab

This came with a good SS Colonel's tab, but I do not have enough experience with Generals' tabs to know if it's is 100 percent. It looks very good to me, but on these senior tabs I am always uncertain.

Does it looks like a good one?

Agree with Ludwig. Also, the buckram is bothersome. The construction of the convergence of the three leaves (lack of defined stems) gives me reason to pause.

No problem, gents, it came with a good tab so nothing lost. This is why I ask for help with these babies; it sure looked comparable to wartime work.

Yeah, it is a bit odd. I agree. The pictures r too big.

I'm having second thoughts...the back really threw me off when first posted. I believe the first posts are scans, and sometimes they aren't the best for lighting and closeup details. How about digital photos at the same distance as hdmarley's in post #8?

This one might just be a maker whose quality was a step or two down from the usual, but this seems better than a repro.

It is indeed very high quality tab and probably have a chance,but i am only comfortable with the style hdmarley posted,here is one of mine,that is same quality and details.

the difference is actually very visible.

Did anyone here did direct vet purchase like Robert example ?
