I second that, 15 K is just a lil too much, i have seen better looking W-SS visors with original insignia for 9 k, just too much

Perhaps its meant for you, Niederlande! I wouldn't pay more than half the asking price, however...

How much are Waffen SS officer visor caps going for these days? Almost every decent Waffen SS officer visor I have seen on dealer sites is above $12000 these days. Considering this one is almost mint..?

one thing is seeing how much dealers n members that think they have a "Name" wants to ask for stuff in general on websites or estand, another thing is how much the pieces manage to get sold...

Whatever price SS visor caps sell for, they seem to be very common, demand over supply forming the prices......

                  9k Officer

I saw one go for about 9k. Minty with nice insignia. I wonder of the rarer NCO Visor's will ever actually start costing more the the more ubiquitous Officer Visors? Or have they already?

Well I guess if they are that "common" then why are they so expensive??
Compare how many officers in all branches of the german forces-
Officers of the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine - now how may officers in the Waffen SS. So how common are these W-SS officers visors??
I'd say very rare - hence the reason that these visors are faked and that the real ones are priced for what they are -

If some people keep paying 10.000us for a cap, then the price stays at 10.000us.

I always say: If i had the money, id buy one today.

price of a vgood visor in good size are 8/9k usd.

For a small size (54) price fall to 6/4,5 usd

Sincerely in the last year i saw in estand at least 15 top officier visor and 1/2 top nco visor (WSS).

Good hat overall (not commenting on isignia), but a crazy high price.

I agree Arran, maybe it's meant for me, however I don't think I will pay that much. I do have some great matching sets of insignia for this one

Currently being offered for sale on the estand with absolutely no mention of the fake insignia

                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=549091

IMHO that says an awful lot about the seller's lack of credibility, considering he is aware of the fact that the issue has already been made public when the visor was previously offered for sale, yet he still chose not to mention it

This is what's wrong with our hobby.
