Hi all!
I am posting this cufftitle for member Norwegian. He had some people look at it and have got different respons, but they who think it is fake cant figure out what they think is wrong, some say there are something with the backing.

So what do you guys think?

Thanks for posting my cuff Olav!
So what do you think of it? I am no expert at all, so it would be great
to hear an oppinion from someone that have knowledge on cuffs.
The peoples that have seen it and says its a fake have different teories
why it is a fake. The last thing I heard was that the little pice of cloth on the back is wrong, and I also that the "G" is wrong.

I am afraid it is fake, these are the problems i see with it;

The band weave is incorrect and is one of the current 7 strand fakes available.

The embroidery is not bad but the aluminium wire lets it down.

The cloth cover on the back someone has gone to great lengths to try to fool, but this covering is what you find on woven bands really.

The label is a photocopy fake as well, and there are 2 other problems with the label, the tax class is incorrect ("A") and the text is Latin which makes it a wartime label on a pre war band!

Sold it to a dealer in Norway as a copy..... Its now for sale, the conclution was that the cuff it self was original, "Germania" typing fake.
Have I done something stupid selling the band for 80$, or wasit a nobel thing to do?
