This is a very good reproduction to say the least. At first glance, it looks good. The engraving is very close. What lets it down in my opinion, is the absence of the critical die flaws in the the various panels, that should exist on any honor ring that purports to be a 39-40s example. A dangerous repro for sure.

The patina is just wrong.

An authentic worn HR bears a different appearance of age on it´s surface.
