    SS M34 Sidecap

The other thread on the black M34 inspired me to throw this one up. It has a problem with the skull button -- it's a 5/8 cast fake. I would welcome any thoughts on the cap itself. The liner has overlock stitching which seems unusual. Thanks gents!

Skull hand stitched. And area where eagle is attached.

Cap looks textbook to me other than the repro button as you mentioned.

The repro button had me worried. Cap matches well with other examples. Here's a couple more pics.

I always found it funny these fake buttons were pictured in Jack Pia's book "ss Regailia"

Sorry, not a big fan of anything I see here..

                      Shouldn't it be A1 / 30, Leonhard Paulig ?
Plus the item number is incredibly early, 1295? on a dubious tag IMO.

Ben, thank you for your comments...

not sure what this refers to "Shouldn't it be A1 / 30, Leonhard Paulig?"

Here is another shot of the tag and a bit of the size stamp. Is the tag merely dubious or just bad? Any construction issues with the sidecap?

                        Thank you!

Yep. Agreed. Fine cap except for the button.
