Hello friends,
i try to post these Ankle boots in the SS section hoping to get more answers than those received on the Equipment one.
I found this unusual pair of shoes in a country farm than i started to get more informations on this forum and, unexpectedly, I read they were expressly made for the SS troops. In fact although very faded in my ones, I noticed the presence of the 'SS’ markings on its sole, the same of the one present in this old thread:
http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ight=side-lace
Is there anyone who is able to explain me for what reason the SS troops should had a different pair of shoes than the army and with that uncomfortable side lace feature?
Is there newer developments and founded opinions respect those old thread raised in the meantime?
Is there any picture where some SS soldier wear them?
Any your opinion is welcome.
Alex C.
