I got a matching set of SS number plates.

look fine to me, . red issue stamps seem good. you selling the lorry plate?

just realised there the same number, could this be on two different modes of transport? as one is m.cycle, other a lorry

It is a matching set for one motorcycle. Front and back.

The SS runes on the top one looks a bit foggy, almost as if it had been spray painted, or is it just on my screen?

Yes I see it too, a little bit strange that SS runes looked sprayed and the numbers not?

Thanks to HDMarley found out about its origins. This one came from Russia, but no info about its origins. Today is lucky number day...
