yes...keeps the pins from coming unpinned...There are some stickpins without the helix on the pin that are originals, but i stay with the accepeted standard, unless in a vet found cache that is a package deal. These also came with horizontal pins ..i think i have three or so .

Quick question all, what's the difference between the "A" marked and "C" marked Deschler stickpins?
