M34 SS VT side cap

Wanted to share some pictures of this rare SS-VT M34 cap.

Same origin as the previous posted M40 SS officer and the M43 SS Officer. All come from second hand clothing collection center.

Unfortunatelt no button and no side eagle. Only traces of the stitching visible. Looks like double row stitching?

On inside size and maker stamp still visible.

Cap is in good to very good condition.

Hereby included two close up pictures of area where possible a tag could have been stitched.

Close up is of left side of stitching. Under magnifier looks like thread has been opened.

No other opinions on such a rare cap?

Because of the tag?

What to think about the construction of the cap, materials used, colour?

Cap has slight traces of wear, but I think tag has been removed early and cap hasn't been worn much.

There are no problems with the RZM cloth laber or any other tag absence.This will be a 1940 production and in these late production year where not used labels on these caps.
The problem here is the liner.Personally,but I can be wrong,I don't like the color.I have always seen these black VT/Allgemeine caps with black liner.

Just my opinion.

...as far as i know , black SS-VT sidecaps almost always have black liners as a rule, correct me if i am wrong !!!

I have seen them with both black and grey lining. IMO not a problem.

Just an example of an SS-VT EM/NCO M34 with ribbed greyish/tan cotton twill.

This one is rather worn, but still a nice example.

Hi Excelsior,
as I have said before,I can be wrong.I don't collect black Allgemeine items so I can't say that's a bad cap,just I have never seen one without black liner.
I own a field gray M34 sidecap to the same maker but I have never had a black one.For sure I would't go for that one.
Just my opinion.
