It's a pity the Frundsberg is not real. I spoke to a Frundsberg veteran who lived in the UK after the war once (the late Rudi Splinter). He said that even during the war he remembers the Frundsberg cuff-title being rare even among wartime Frundsberg troops (!) and not used universally (supply problems?). He said that if an NCO was sent on a course, on leave etc he could remember NCO's literally borrowing a band from another soldier (take off, sew on). I think the Frundsberg band is a much harder band to aquire than a band from it's sister Division Hohenstaufen and is a real asset to a collection if you can find one. Better luck next time!

The '6' cufftitle is a nice original, to make up for the dissapointment As an aside Hersteller 189 tags are on other '6' cufftitles this being a later series tag. It appears they did the hand embroidery..
