    concentration camp tunic

Hello! I got this tunic last week. Luckily it came to me from an old attic in the nearby. 100% authentic. I would like to know if it is possible to determine from which c. camp it is? Enjoy .

    Why?

Why conceal part of the prisoner's number?

There are 22 camps listed for Yugoslavia here: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/...st/cclist.html . Good luck. It may be possible to trace the prisoner's number through Slovenia State Achieves.

I think that if there is a letter "J" on red triangle it doesn't mean the man was imprisoned in concentration camp in Yugoslavia, but probably in Germany as Yugoslav people. J = Jugoslawien.

        Camp

If you have no clue to start with, the only way to know is from the style of the numbers and then the type of cloth used for the jacket. The number font will be unique to the camp. You have to look to match it with other identified examples.
