Beautiful, I am jealous of you What would the brown mark on the visor be, did the "black" come off. And where did you get those awesome heads ? are they glass or some kind of plexi? Thank you for sharing your collection with us

The visor has crazing, or little spider cracks in the laquered finish. The visor has wear in the area which it was grabbbed frequently to the thumb and forefinger toe remove or replace on the noggin. The cap was brought back by a British vet. I do not know if this area was additionally dammaged in the 60 some years since it has served as a war trophy.

The interior is heavily worn but an honest original. This cap is actually on hold for another collector as I am adding a new panzer m-43 to my collection this week.
