Well, I would say that although rare, they are not among the most expensive skulls...

BTW , there is no such generic item as " an unmarked skull " . A German made one like shown may indeed be as high as $ 1200,- , but a Flemish or Latvian one less .
And an Italian one more ..

In my opinion, an original unmarked skull is far more rare than the common Deschler M1/52 type. I would think the value would be no less than a common CupAl Deschler.

Bob, i'm having a second look at this, could it possibly be an unmarked deschler? it does have the suture above the right eye, and the nose, and teeth..etc..

the flemish, i think, if it remember right was posted on a forum. i was trying to learn more about it.
as a result, i just bought one

..if you had a better picture of the unknown skull that started this thread, it would help..
maybe, it could be an unmarked deschler.. & again, maybe, someone resoldered the pins
in the back, but i think reveresed the pins.. learn from the masters here on WAF
