Just curious why did you think Flemish? Did the wartime construction of Flemish black A-SS type uniforms issue flemish constructed straps?
      I was under the impression,when A-ss uniforms were second-handed to teh Germanic-SS they utilized unissued/second hand A-SS rank boards,am I wrong??
I realize some insignia such as certain SS armelrautes were cottage or home made in those areas, and even a few Dutch black uniforms,.but as a whole shoulderboards?

It is a sloppily made back of a period board, period ofcourse, but sloppy.

You are right, sloppy conctruction, but original.
A friend of mine said to me that it is not a german made A SS shoulder strap.
