Classic bevo...too bad about the damage in a strategic spot.

I haven't seen period photos of this type in-wear, but when interviewing U.S. veterans of the 2nd Armored Division about 15 years ago, I talked with
a former officer of the 67th Armored Regiment's Recon platoon. He actually had a bloody DF in quotes cuffband, that he ripped off the sleeve of a prisoner who was shot in the shoulder in a root cellar, at Odeigne, Belgium in January, 1945. He actually laid the band on a B&W Xerox machine and sent me an image of it. So I have no doubt that these bands were actually worn. I didn't know any doubt existed.
Thre same officer also interestingly, removed a 'Reichsfuhrung SS' flatwire band from another casualty in Germany in spring, 1945. Sadly, he would not sell either of these bands to me and when he passed-on, his antique dealer daughter took possession of his stuff and I don't know what she did with it, but she also refused to sell it to me.

is that correct, there are no pictures of soldiers with bevo "DER FÜHRER" cufftitel?
