    sleeve eagle pt.2

Much better pics of my eagle now,
This was agreed to be authentic a couple of weeks ago. I just want to be 110% sure, with these better pics...
I hope you're still all in agreement!
    regards
    jon

                  Paranoid????????Hello Jon
IMO a very very nice original sleeve-eagle
I only have some concerns about the piece cloth
the way it is stitched on and how it was cut
IMO is this eagle post-war applied on this field-grey cloth to make some more $$$$

but this is just mine opinion

                    thanks,
the bit I was worried about, is the very slight differences in the width of the wing sections! (paranoia, I know...)
As for being post-war applied to the cloth, what is the 'standard/usual' way of application?
                    regards
                    jon

Hi Jon, there is no "standard" method of application; hand sewn, or machine stitched with straight or zig-zag stitching can all be found on originals.

                      Cheers, Ade.
