    Its real so I am not saying otherwise by the way , where did you get it ?

            Some makers made covers like yours, that would fit the shell very tight.

            These covers you could use with both shell sizes they were designed for back then but not anymore as you'd probably damage the cover.

            Other makers made covers that would easily fit the shells they were designed for.

            There is no cover that was made for just one shell size, I anyhow haven't seen one yet.

            Appart from that, I can't make out what the stamp on this one here really says.

              Agree,

              Among covers size 1 there "big" and "small" size 1's.
              Mine is certainly a big size 1.
