    A-ss insignia home at last!

After recovering these out of the woodwork 4 years ago,

dumb and ... DUMB as I was,
    I sold these.
After getting home from work there was a text in my phone telling me he was reselling them and asking if I might be interested in them again...

So here they are, safe at home rescued from the other collector's crap drawer, my a-ss insignia recovered from the former house of Flemish Volunteer Houet who lived in Mol Belgium!

    I am SOOO happy!

      back of tabs...

salty as hell from bad storage over the years after the war,
they were tucked away with some other souvenirs...
      note the heavy buckram!

I still got his a-ss M34 sidecap too

                Thanks Tom,

I've never been as happy as I am now!
I should have never sold these in the first place,
knowing the history it would have been a shame ever letting those pass my way and ending up at some 'I don't know' scenery!
I'm still the happiest person around now I guess recovering these!

I'll post some pictures of the cap soon!...

in foreign languages= ME SO HAPPY!

                  Good for you!

and good for him for calling you on them.

I can't tell you how many times I sold something under duress, with the caveat "when you sell it let me know" only to hear about it well after the fact, "oh I didn't know you really wanted it"

Thank you very much for that picture and the kind words Luc,

maybe, just maybe one day I'll have that picture too to display these with,
according to my informants this picture is believed to be in some quite awesome Belgian private collection

And thanks again for that photo!!!!
